Doug Ford Deaths
Documenting the failures of Ontario's PC government
Doug Ford and the Ontario Progressive Conservative party are responsible for needless deaths in the province of Ontario. This is due to his mismanagement and unwillingness to put the people of Ontario above the power and profits of himself and his donors.
The death count is, sadly, too difficult to come up with. There are too many unknowns, many of which will not be known for some time. Others have limited, disjointed reporting. If data becomes available I will start a counter for each major category. There are three main categories to the deaths that can be attributed both in the past and future:
- HealthcareThe underfunding and privatization of our healthcare system. Specifically in emergency services and long term care homes.
- EnvironmentOur long term ability to feed ourselves and have an environment hospitable to life is constantly being attacked by legislation removing environmental protections throughout the province.
- InfrastructureFastracking the building of infrastructure, which cuts corners and removes safety checks. Removal of infrastructure that is in place for safety to gain political capital with his base.
